The Eaton GFEP230 is a 30 Amp, 2-Pole Ground Fault Equipment Protector (GFEP) circuit breaker designed to provide equipment protection from damaging ground faults in 120/240 Volt AC electrical systems. Unlike a standard 5mA GFCI breaker intended for personnel protection, the GFEP230 is calibrated to trip at approximately 30mA, making it ideal for applications such as heat trace systems, snow melting equipment, irrigation, pumps, HVAC equipment, and other commercial or industrial loads where equipment protection is required.
